⁣This is Dr. Kevin Conners with a 60 Second Cancer Update from Conners Clinic, an Alternative Cancer Treatment center in St Paul, MN. Today we're going to talk about a study that just came out of the Finland/Switzerland area in Europe that showed the vulnerability of Glioblastoma and the Lysosomal membrane. Your lysosomes are little organelles inside of your cells, all of your cells have these, and they house bunch of digestive enzymes that, when released, help break down and recycle cellular components. They are the cleanup of the cell.

Well the thought was, if we could get these lysosomes to break down and thereby spill all their contents in the cell, they would effectively stimulate apoptosis and stimulate cell death. This study focused on that: "How can we weaken the lysosomal membrane." So what they did is they found that antihistamines, and in this case they used Clemastine which is an antihistamine that readily crosses the blood brain barrier because they were dealing with a brain cancer, but they found that antihistamines would break down that lysosomal barrier and spill its enzymes, all the digestive enzymes that are in lysosomes, would spill it into the cells and stimulate apoptosis thereby causing the cell to die.

So they felt that they could help kill cancer cells, glioblastoma cells which are one of the most aggressive brain cancers we have today, by using a simple over-the-counter antihistamine. Well the theory is is that we could use natural antihistamines as well! So using natural antihistamines, and I have multiple videos and blog posts on histamines and cancer not just with brain cancer but breast cancer and other cancers, that it's been proven that histamine is a stimulator to cancer because it protects that lysosomal barrier. By breaking down that barrier, we are in effect spilling digestive enzymes into the cell and causing the cell death. The interesting thing about this study is that healthy cells were protected. Just recently Monsanto was slapped with another giant lawsuit. This is actually their third lawsuit of people who are making claims that their cancer is caused by RoundUp. RoundUp is their major weed killer that's in just about everything now, in our food supply. And this couple both had Hodgkin's lymphoma, and brought a $2 billion dollar lawsuit. If these lawsuits keep coming, it could be bankruptcy for Monsanto/Bayer, Bayer bought Monsanto out. Big time really bad for you. If you're still using RoundUp you guys, you have to stop."

Well nothing else kills the weeds like that." I started using this formula last year and it's worked well. Does it work as good as roundup? Well I haven't used roundup for a very very long time. But using your own homemade weed-be-gone with vinegar, epsom salt, and Dawn dish soap has been great for us. Don't use RoundUp! ⁣This is Dr. Kevin Conners with a 60 Second Cancer Update from Conners Clinic, and Alternative Cancer Treatment center. Today we're going to talk about Stress and Cancer. We all know that stress is not good for us. How does that affect us with cancer? Well stress affects our HPA Axis, the Hypothalamus Pituitary Adrenal Axis. So when we are under just acute stress (we're not talking about prolonged stress), we make cortisol. And the benefit of cortisol is it can help decrease inflammation. So cortisol is a natural anti-inflammatory. That's a good thing! Acute stress could be a good thing. But the problem is we don't have just acute little episodes of stress every few days. We have prolonged stress that goes on all day long, or multiple episodes per day. So that is a totally different story. Prolonged stress does not increase cortisol production.

It ends up being the opposite of that: it decreases cortisol production because our adrenals are stressed out. Our receptors for cortisol are stressed out symptoms, similar to insulin receptor problems in diabetics. So when we can't have that same response to stress, we end up with prolonged stress that decreases cortisol production and increases inflammation. Inflammation is the enemy to cancer. Prolonged inflammation that isn't counterbalanced with a good balance of cortisol causes this damage in the HPA Axis, damage in the cells receptors for cortisol, damage in our adrenal function. So our adrenal is are basically worn out with prolonged stress and that adrenal dysfunction does not decrease our inflammation. Bottom line is, we end up with this ramped up inflammation. We have this constant inflammatory process which we could say is often the root of many many of our diseases, not just cancer, constant ramped up inflammation. So what do we do about it? Bottom line, deal with the stress of your life. Find some way as an outlet for your stress. Support your adrenal glands, support your HPA Axis, consider adaptogenic herbs to help keep hormones balanced. You'll find more of this on our website and on our blogs in our store.
